OFFICERS

Bich-Ngan Nguyen, President

Bich Nguyễn is a past Cultural Council board member and brings six years of running cultural and arts programs in Northborough to the Arts Council. She is an artist herself and has participated in two of the NCC Go Out Doors - Northborough public art exhibitions in Ellsworth-McAfee Park. In the non-profit sector, Bich serves as the New England chapter president of the Women's Association of Verizon Employees.

Suzanne Cox, Vice President & Treasurer

Suzanne Cox is a long time member of the Northborough Cultural Council and heads up its Public Art Campaign aimed at using art in our public spaces to enhance our community’s unique identity. Since starting the initiative, the NCC has held two Go Out Doors - Northborough public art exhibitions of upscaled painted doors and seen a mural installed on the Town Common.

Catherine Arcona

Catherine is a middle school language specialist and is passionate about using the arts to express and represent the diversity of cultural that make up our community. She has six years experience running cultural programs in Northborough while on the Cultural Council.

Shayne Goodwin - Social Media Chair

Shayne Goodwin is a freelance artist and a new comer to the arts and cultural programming in Northborough. She brings a new and exciting perspective to efforts to enhance our community through the arts.

Laurie Halsey

Laurie has been a resident of Northborough for almost ten years. She is committed to the vibrant community spirit here in Northborough and shares the goal for that spirit and identity to be reflected through the arts and the revitalization of our downtown. She brings a background in literature and finance to the council and heads up the grant opportunity and management activities.

Lesley Shore - Fundraising Chair

Lesley is an elementary school educator and also a past member of the Cultural Council. She has been instrumental in the creation and success of the initial CultureFest in town and brings a positivity and energy to every effort she leads. Lesley currently heads up our non-profit fundraising efforts.
